I dumped dollars for Euro`s gold and Swiss Francs starting at 113 Euro to the dollar. Got out completely at Parity. Gold has done well and I feel good about my silver although it has not moved much yet I trust it will sooner or later. Euro`s are only a temporary shelter as I think the Euro is in trouble not to far down the road. I don`t even trust the Swiss Franc anymore. Look at it`s charts compared to the Euro. The seem to be playing ball with the EU. Considering what gold has done I would have thought that the Swiss Franc would have gained against the Euro a lot. Since Switzerland is entirely surrounded by EU countries they may feel they have no choice at the moment but to not let the Swiss Franc go crazy. I`ll dump my Euro`s before my Swiss Francs but I definitely don`t think of my Swiss Francs as gold. I think gold and silver are perhaps better than cash. I can always sell some if I need cash. I just don`t see gold or silver getting cheaper long term. I like real estate in the right countries.

here's tempting fate -- muggings don't seem to hurt like they used to -- maybe they are over-rated <g>
