Energy, forests, land, minerals. The "virtual" office will eliminate some need for commuting and buildings to house workers and children in day care. "Virtual" meetings will eliminate some need for travel, runways, hotels, limos, restaurants, etc. "Virtual" universities will eliminate some need for campuses, buildings, commuting, travel, dormitories, etc.

RE: "racketeers"

I am referring to the "securities" industry and the "entrepreneurs" involved in the con/pyramid game that was technology IPOs and the market during the bubble.

MSFT is a monopolist and a convicted law breaker, but they are NOT racketeers.
