excellent post, foxlette... it's the pernicious nature of the public ethnic slurs... it frequently emboldens those who hold to such prejudices to come out of the woodwork with the "wink, wink, nod, nod" quips that serve no other purpose than to reinforce racial or ethnic stereotypes. and totally unacceptable from a national political leader
