I endorse ANYONE who has the talent and resolve to fight and defeat the Marxist/Leninist anti-American enemy that has threatened to destroy our republic for over 40 years. Replacing Lott appears to offer promise of a more effective fight against that domestic enemy. That is ALL that's important to America at this time. Only from victory over this passionate anti-American domestic enemy can any positive, fruitful policy emerge...

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- At a press conference today to discuss the facts about partial birth abortion, U.S. Senator Bill Frist (R-TN) made the following statement:

“On this important issue we’re once again forced to vote with our conscience. I’ve spent a significant amount of time researching the realities of partial birth abortion and still come up with the same conclusions; regardless of what the President has said, partial birth abortion is never necessary to preserve the health of a women -- a fact substantiated by many health care professionals -- and it’s a procedure which crosses our nation’s moral threshold.

“With the reintroduction of the partial birth abortion ban legislation in the Senate, we have the opportunity once again to right a wrong. We must heed the will of the American people as they call on us to listen not to political advisors or radical interest groups, but to our conscience. As a physician, I believe that partial birth abortions cannot and should not be categorized with other medical procedures -- or even other abortions. We must ignore the propaganda and listen to the facts. For the sake of women, their children and our future as a society, we must put a stop, once and for all, to partial birth abortion.”
