It was the repub's that removed Lott, especially those in the White House. As for that bogus impeachment, Lott most likely realized there were too many republicans hypocrites in his own party to make a sex scandal a legitimate reason for impeachment.

I agree with most of your post ....though the reference to the lion having more food is hard for me to focus on....jackels, vultures and jellyfish not missing a meal seems to be a clearer image..
