Anybody who unnecessarily puts the lives of young American men and women at risk (not to mention people who live in the countries that we "target" as well as the international institutions and institutional arrangements that keep this world from falling apart at the seams), deserves to be called incompetent if that person is serving as one of our appointed diplomatic leaders.
