You realize that statement could appear more racist than what Lott said- because it looks intentional, and I don't need to read anything into it. I think you managed to insult both blacks and Irishmen with that. I'd think you would be more sympathetic to Lott if you are going to go around saying things like that.

Of course you're not in public office. But God help you if you were, and if you said something like that.

Acting like a couple drunks can be applied to any two people, or groups of people, and is not race or religion dependent, ie., The democrats and republicans on this thread, argue like a couple of drunks. The only reason any significance was given to his statement is the repub's are still trying to deflect their parties criticism onto an old foe.
