Thanks. I went ahead and changed to Reuters and upgraded my downloader to 7.22. Very fast. No more 10 stock request and at a time. The whole thing is batched and takes about 1/5 the time to download the same information with Reuters as it does with Dial Data. Thanks for the info. I hope you get it running soon.

I am right in the middle of a download so I can't check my settings but I will let you know what address I am using. Since I sent them a nasty e-mail, I haven't had anymore problems...... yet. -g- I do know it is the default setting it came loaded with as I didn't change anything. I am running version 8. I'll write again when my download is done. Good Luck, Lee

My current Dial Data Advanced Vendor options... Timeout increase 0% Internet Host 1 = DD.TDC.COM INternet Host 2 = DD1.TDC.COM Using Connection Internet setting and a Satellite modem which means my outgoing requests are slow but my incoming are pretty fast. Last night ran fine again FWIW. Good Luck, Lee
