Hey PT,
I thought this was a dead thread. Glad to see you’re still around. TRGC, wow what wonderful bad memories. I still own some of that POS. I wonder what ever happened to Verdad?

You’re a Hawkwind fan? I saw them live many years ago in Denver and they do put on a very good show. I even got autographed poster by them. Hawkwind is a very underrated band in the US but have a huge following in Europe. They’re kind of like the Grateful Dead of Europe. Have you ever seem Marillion or the ex-lead singer Fish? They also put on very excellent shows.

I’ve never owned to many older or classic guitars. I doubt that I can even remember most of them anymore. I’ve owned a late seventies Martin D-28 with a satin finish that I really enjoyed playing and also a late seventies Gibson 335 that I enjoyed. I’ve also own a few Gibson guitars from the sixties, an aluminum neck guitar by Kramer (a 650 Artist). This guitar had the best sustain of any guitar I’ve ever owned but the weight of the aluminum neck forced you to play the guitar with the neck parallel to the ground. My favorite guitars to play nowadays are the Gibson Flying V’s and the Godin guitar lines. The V’s are so light weight and easy to play I just love em. You just can’t play them sitting down but hey, I’ve got other guitars to play with if I want to sit. I just sold my newer model Epiphone (Gibson) 12 string acoustic last week. It had a stunning tonality to it. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that the strings were set just a little higher than I like. I shaved the bridge down and was going to shave the nut down but decided that I really didn’t need a 12 string and got rid of it. It will be a great guitar with just a small bit a tweaking.

I’ can’t help you with your song but maybe someone else reading this thread can. Take good care of yourself and “Seasons Greeting”.

Shades:)
