Yeah, in the last two weeks since his speech re Thurmond. The position of Majority Leader doesn't start until January. He was minority leader and in the past he has been majority leader and before that minority leader again. Either way he has been in a leadership position and spoke and acted less like a strong conservative then he did when he was in a minor leadership position or in none at all. What was he when he spoke to the CCC back in 1998? If what you're telling me is that conservatives can change their spots back and forth, then I am even worried. Bottom line.......he's a conservative vs a moderate Rep., and that's all that was pertinent to my post to GW. ted
