you obviously weren't reading the trading threads in October! I think a lot of those guys were 100% short going into the move. It was quite enlightening for me to see how their TA failed them.

When that news about Tim Luke broke, I thought he was likely short, because the shorting was getting relentless and a whole bunch of novices were "loading the boat". I once had a net short position in the face of a strong rally and it was devastating, much worse than being long in a correction.

I tried to trade this year and did... sortof ok, I guess. But now I think I can go long some of these capex guys and hang on, they are all trading for a little over cash anyway. I've received a few calls about work lately.
