"Not long ago the Prez noted that the UN would be irrelevant if it did not enforce its own resolutions. Interesting.

First: While the Constitution is a contract between the states and the central government, both must ask for permission from the public, that is the Citizens, to change it in any way. If the parties wish to abolish or ignore it, they must ask. Niether have asked; the Citizens have not given permission. That makes the office of President, Congress and the Judiciary irrelevant when they ignore it.

Second: The Constitution authorizes and forms a central government with certain powers. Without the document, the central government has no authority of organization, nor power. That makes central government, in DC, irrelevant.

Third: The Constitution forms Union. What Union, without a Costitution? That makes Union irrelevant.

I wonder why the Prez didn't note that central government would be irrelevant if it did not enforce the provisions of the Constitution upon itself.

OH well; never give blind trust in the words spoken through the 'mask of the actor.'
