Sorry if I confused you... I didn't mean to imply that diversity was the sole reason for the successes the US has had..... I was simply arguing that diversity doesn't weaken us but rather is a source of our strength. It's something, I think, no other nation has...Europe, for example, has borders around every group of people that speaks a different language and nationalism is a point of pride.... Historically over centuries,there is always serious friction between someone on that continent... Visionary's have long recognized the advantages of a United Europe but progress in this area moves at snails pace....look how long it took to get a common market and a common currency.....
