Believe me we pay a lot more than $1.50 a gallon for that gasoline when you figure in all the defense, security and terrorism costs. If we used no more oil from ANYWHERE, starting tomorrow, please don't tell me you think that terrorism would "go away"!

I'm sure the world will be anxious to hear of his long range plan to get us off Arab oil. I'm equally sure that he will be able to be able to boot people from their SUV's.... He will have to have all the car, bus and plane manufacturers, ones both in the US and that export to us, and the inventors of the engines in line too... To say nothing of just how all of the manufacturers will finance a complete remodeling of the transportation systems in the US, as well as the rest of the world. How long is "long range" to you? BTW, if the Middle East doesn't sell their oil, what else will they do to provide for themselves. What other major sources of income do they have? Is Kerry planning on supporting them too? He will however propose a long-range plan to get us completely off Arab oil without drilling in our last wilderness areas. It will be intelligently thought out and visionary. And America will finally listen, as addiction to "Arab oil" we now know is at the heart of many of our most ornery problems. Believe me we pay a lot more than $1.50 a gallon for that gasoline when you figure in all the defense, security and terrorism costs.
