Clinton was the most popular American president overseas since Kennedy. Of course they dont vote, we do. But I was in europe when Bush "won" the election and everyone was depressed. Yes, they are more socialist so that's one reason but it's also because they care about the environment more than most Americans. I guess they're more liberal in general. But they're our allies so it's not a good thing when they turn against us. Whatever the reasons. If Kerry does this right, he could give us the best of both worlds. Toughness plus likeability worldwide.
