Now surely you don't think these mistakes are accidental?
I don't know. Is he intentionally fiddling with the facts to suit his bias? Or is it sloppy analysis? Or maybe sloppy analysis as a result of subconscious bias? I was assuming your run of the mill careless analysis. I always give people the benefit of the doubt <g> although it's a tough call whether stupid is all that much better than duplicitous. My sense of O'Reilly has always been is that he's basically sincere and earnest, or at least thinks he is, if not always very thoughtful or thorough. But I could be mistaken. What do you think?
