And you still haven't said what the source is....there is very little free H2 on this planet. Almost all of the H2 is in a chemically combined form, eg water, no doubt the logic behind your "half the planet" comment. Fuel cell technology is quite advanced in this country too but I not certain it can compete commercially with oil products... and fuel cells need fuel themselves as a source of the hydrogen... Water is the exhaust product but to recycle H2 from water requires hydrolysis which requires electricity.
