There's no Santa, there's no elves, and there's no Rudolf with a glowing nose <s> People that claim to love you made up these lies...I expect at this point a conservative will jump in and say it was a liberal plot to make the transition to socialism easier. Santa represents "big government". Biblical Stuff: Spain is the only country that got it "right". The origin for Christmas presents is the gifts of the Magi, the three Kings. But they didn't come the day of the birth of Christ, they came some time later. January 6 is the Christian day of recognition for the visit by the three Magi. [at least for some of the Christian tribes.] In Spain, they exchange presents on the 6th, and they recognize the origin as the Three Kings....no jolly Saint Nick, reindeer or midgets involved. jttmab
