The middle-class in America are being F'ed no doubt.
Bush's tax cuts is mainly for the rich. Average workers up to $100,000 a year see something like 33% taken out before they even get it. The rich pay only grudgingly and have all kinds of dodges. The average rate for the rich may well be below that of the factory worker. That's why Kerry is calling for the immediate payroll tax cut to benefit most Americans, including Republicans. The estate tax cuts pay for this and otherwise they will bankrupt us. The people inheriting estates will not spend more. But the working class will, immediately. Which flows right into the small businsesses and corporations which Bushies claim to care about. The Clinton economic team had it right. They succeeded. The Bush team has just been fired and will fail again unless they adopt this. Robert Reich is a brilliant man. Look him up and read his opinions.
