Yes, that's true. Nevertheless, I am sure the relationship between all the "boyz" must still exist. This thing didn't start yesterday and these are the big guys in the business.

However, having said that and for what it's worth, now that the technicals on the gold price are positive, interest rates are so low and various miners (Anglogold, Normandy etc) are buying in their hedges I think the price fixing "conspiracy" is over. I may be wrong but I believe the game has changed. In fact, I think it's pay-back time for the short-sellers.
