Soon thereafter-when they let themselves get bamboozled into voting for the John Lindsay of 2002, Michael Bloomberg-they earned their fate. And Bloomberg is now sticking it to them, 24/7. The people of NYC saw the success of Guilianni, and didn't learn their lesson. They deserved John Lindsay in the late 60's, and they deserve Bloomberg today.

The city bankruptcy that Bloomberg brings about may finish that bastion of Stalinism off for good. But, other than city bureaucrats, there may be no one left in the city to suffer...
