That's ridiculous. Segregation doesn't even exist anymore except (in effect) in certain ghettos and parts of the deep South. Blacks do vote about 90% democrat, but for good reason,. The old Dixiecrat segregationists all switched parties and became Republicans. Remember George Wallace was actually a democrat once. And Lincoln freed the slaves. But now that has been reversed because of the GOP Southern Strategy Nixonites started. To go get those Wallace voters and turn them into Republicans. And they succeeded. I know there's a little racism in everyone, but historically there is good reason why blacks vote democrat and why black conservatives like Larry Elder have to continually lie and distort the truth. I heard him say once that the majority of blacks support Republican programs such as school vouchers. Such BS. If that were true more than 10% would vote Republican. School vouchers is an attempt to help anti-black whites pay for Catholic and Baptist private schools which are fairly cheap to attend. Blacks would have nowhere to go with vouchers since they're not enough to pay for any decent private schooling. Vouchers just brains the public school system. Boy has it been "fun" watching the Repuiblicans try to rewrite history this last two weeks with the Lott scandal. In their desperate attempt to put racism back in their closet they lied and counter-charged again and again and again, and used their one black congressman JC Watts giving speeches all day every day. And then they dumped Lott anyway after JC told us what a great guy Lott was. Oh boy. Come save us, John Kerry.
