techlvr: Speak for yourself techlvr. I,for one, will not feel better if Qualcomm builds cash instead of using opportunities available to spread CDMA in the wide wide world and improve the future for Qualcomm as a company by selective investvests such as SnapTrack.

If there were another SnapTrack out there, buying it would beat piling up cash (which can only be invested at a minimal return) by such a huge margin that as a stockholder I would cheer.

Are you in this company for the long run? If so, what does "cash" do for the future of Qualcomm? Hmmmm?

Hard to understand this fixation. It is like the old problem that after the first billion or two what do you do for an encore? The Q has that. So what else is needed?

I would suggest that now of all times is when to invest in the future and Qualcomm should take that opportunity when it is sitting on useless cash.

Best.
