I think Hawkmoon has it the situation right on the head and you're off base.

This is malarkey IMO. And it's just your opinion and not fact.

Actually I am pretty decent Karen.. Ask those who have interacted with me personally... I love a challenging debate, and while I often come off a bit strong, I generally tolerate most opinions so long as their advocates have a logical reason for believing the way they do..

But I find your willingness to ignore fact (such as the Bush administration actions having "driven" the UN's decision to return inspectors to Iraq) as an attempt to win an argument no matter what the cost to the truth...

Everyone knows this Karen... Everyone who has followed this thread knows that it was GWBJr. who, upon challenging the UN to enforce it's own binding resolutions, or face irrelevancy, that created the momentum for the return of UN inspectors...

And everyone knows that the UN had done practically nothing from 1998 until that speech to return inspectors on it's own.. Those are just publicly acknowledged facts.. The only thing left open might be the opinon behind why the UN didn't do anything previously, or why Bush made that speech...

But the fact is that no inspection process was certified until the US pressured the UNSC for ANOTHER binding resolution enforcing the previous one, asserting that the PREVIOUS inspection process was not finished.
