I took a lot of humor from the fact that Babawa had one helluva time finding an apartment in NYC, even after she got famous. Obviously they already knew what the Left Coasters were later to find out. Or, as Johnny Carson so nicely put it, "...California is like a giant bowl of party-mix. If you take out all the fruits and the flakes, all you're left with is the nuts..."!! There are a few exceptions I'm sure, working for Hewlitt-Packard or at the Crystal Cathedral. Ha ha ha ha ha. Been there - done that - Boy, was he right on the mark. John :-) .
