Please give quotes to support your position that "the religion of islam is bad, the way it is worded the violence the sex. " I am sorry but it is hardly my problem that you are tired of giving these quotes. I was not here to see them. So if you are still saying the same things, the quotes should be handy somewhere. Just gets tiring. Then stop posting. If you do post, however, then you might be asked to provide quotes from time to time. Then they [Bible and Torah] are all wrong and should be changed. Right. I would love to see you argue this to the whole world. By the way, if you were not familiar with the examples I gave (Elisha & Lot), then you have not read either of these books, and of course you have not read the Quran either but are relying on the quotes you have found on the net, and hence are in my opinion unqualified to give opinion on what kind of a religion Islam is, especially in comparison to Christianity and Judaism. I strongly urge you to take a look at these three books. I believe it will improve your arguments considerably. some religions are more civilized that others and for the reason you stated...revolution or evolution. You missed the point. It is not that one religion is more civilized than another. It is the people who have lived through the dark ages of that religion and now do not care so much for it in their daily lives. As I have pointed out to you in the examples of Lot and Elisha (and believe me, there are many more), the religion is no better. It is the people who have learned to ignore it. The book was written by humans and subject to error, why not fix any mistakes that do not fit in to days society. Quran is believed to have come down page by page, already written by God. Mohammad did not know how to read or write, and this is shown as proof that he did not write the Quran (probably others helped him write it, but that's just my opinion). So the Quran has come down to our age without so much as a single word changed, since it is believed to be literally the exact words of God. And now there is Lorne, who thinks he will find the "mistakes" in the Quran and fix them. <ggg> Sorry but you really need to read a little bit of history and hopefully take a look at the three major religious books before making such statements. Fix the mistakes in Quran,indeed... As if the whole Muslim world was waiting for you to come and meddle with their holy book in which not a single word has been changed since its acceptance... I believe there have been changes to christian bibles over the years do you agree? The Bible has been written AFTER the death of Christ, by forty different people who claim to have seen the period when he was alive, and over 1,500 years or so - Peter, Matthew, etc... So it was never a complete document to start with. I don't agree that muslims will outgrow there religion Of course they will. There is no stopping the information flow into the Muslim areas - internet, etc - and already the young are pushing for reform, in Iran for example. What is your basis for saying they will not outgrow their religion and make their own reforms? Do you know something that I do not? Do you then agree that islam was wrong from the start and has no choice but to change? Please do not disregard my conclusions and draw your own, based on what I have said. I resent that. What I have said is that ALL RELIGIONS are wrong. Islam is by no means any worse than any other religion that has equally stupid assertions and equally horrible morals regarding sex and violence. And I have also said that it is NOT the religions that change but the PEOPLE, who outgrow them and give less and less importance to the religion in their daily lives.
