I agree about the pattern. The decline of the west?
Last time I felt like that was about 16 years ago. The Japanese banks buy buying up all the prime real estate in Manhattan. Lease prices per sq. ft. per ridiculously high and going higher. They even bought Landmarks like Rockerfeller Center. I was very upset about what was going on. When their banking system collapsed, they defaulted on the loans and the buildings were retrieved at pennies to the dollar. The west was not so dumb afterall.
