Dec 23, 2002 (Herald Sun - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Toy company, Mattel, has
released an adults-only Lingerie Barbie. The toy, which comes with an age
recommendation of 14-years and over,
will be sold in Australia from February
2003. The sixth Lingerie Barbie comes dressed in in a grey satin slip and is
aimed at "serious collectors". Sarah Madison, a spokeswoman for the Women's
Electoral Lobby, is relieved the toy is not being marketed at children and has
expressed interest in whether Mattel plans to release a Lingerie Ken doll as
well.
