Sorry, Alomex, you were misunderstanding my comment. I was talking about how easy it is to implement those application features (like multiple levels of undo) with the Cocoa framework, compared with doing so in straight C with the Carbon APIs. That some of those features may also be straightforward with MFC is true. But the fact remains that MFC was plastered on top of the crusty old WIN32 APIs, while Cocoa was built from the ground up.

I think he's talking about multiple levels of undo for the program that is being written in Objective C, not multiple levels of undo in the editor.

Visual MFC C++ is passe as well.

Look into Visual.Net and you will see that the majority of web based distributed application developemnt will be occuring in windows

Above is amazon's list of books available on the subject. It has taken off faster than any of Microsoft's previous application development environments. I have used .net for a small project, and I am currently using the web services aspect to creaste a front end to a hardware device I am designing. It is relatively easy to get all this done from deign tools to deployment.
