One would expect folk who show up to hear Bill Kristol talk to be more likely to be hawks; but then it was Cambridge. Really. I think what most Americans are really saying is, "you say this war is necessary - please show us the evidence". This is a good position for the Bush administration because all they need do to make their case is show the evidence. IMO this administration has a good handle on timing and not going off half-cocked (they certainly know how to play their cards close to the vest), so I expect to see evidence within about a month. I'm sure they have some, but are really hoping to shake loose a new and credible defector.
