I anticipate a big bond smash during the second half of 2003. Bonds should be OK for a few months if the stock market takes another big hit as I expect.

BTW given the fact that market extremes in one direction tend to lead to extremes in the opposte direction, I suspect that bonds will go down much more than most expect when the plug is pulled. Just like gold probably will go higher than all but the wildest bulls anticipate.
