Say, do you ever look at the Gold Price Monitor thread? It's getting like the Dell thread of a few years ago. So let's see, maybe that means gold can double from where it is now--or at least get up to 500.

I guess this the logical fallacy known as the "argumentum ad insanitatem"--if they are crazy enough they might be right for a while.

Meanwhile, there are still tens of millions of U. S. citizens who think that there's light at the end of the tunnel for the stock markets. They are right. They just don't realize that the tunnel is ten years long.

Now if a billion Chinese will only buy one tenth of an ounce of gold each . . .
