I live in Central Illinois and all gas went 90/10 in 1976 in my area. The alcohol did cause some problems with fuel hoses in older boats but just at first. One of the nicest things was winter time gas line freeze ups became a thing of the past. If a vehicle is fuel injected you can run up to a 15/85 mixture.

Our busses are using a soy oil mixture. It makes the exhaust smell like French fries.
