The alcohol did cause some problems with fuel hoses in older boats but just at first. One of the nicest things was winter time gas line freeze ups became a thing of the past. If a vehicle is fuel injected you can run up to a 15/85 mixture. Our busses are using a soy oil mixture. It makes the exhaust smell like French fries.
