Please note the word "provocative" up above. She said what she said intentionally to make a point. Her point was similar to those that have been made by Al and others. That another way to get peoples' attention besides dropping bombs is make positive improvements to their lives. Oh, yes, you nitwit. She was trying to be "provocative" so these high school students could PONDER whether Bin Laden was a nicer guy than Uncle Sam. It is bad enough to have ADULTS like you, Hanoi Jane, Baghdad Jim & Sean, and the Hollywood Crowd, who are all rooting for the opposing team. But we need our elected officials shoving it down the throats of 16-year olds.

He bribed the Taliban gov. and the people so he could run his terrorist camps and cave complexes as he wished. He succeeded in getting Afghanistan invaded and the Taliban gov. destroyed. Do you really think the building he did will = the amount of destruction he caused. Another thing, the schools he built were fundamentalist schools, which preach hate. Is Sen Murray really suggesting that the US also should build schools which preach hate. I thought you dems were for love sex and debauchery, not hate. Whats worse, she was acting in her capacity as a senator, not in a private moment, such as a PTA meeting or parents day visit, so she had an obligation to represent the views of the people she is working for. That is not the time for her to express her free speech rights; or try to see if she could be provocative enough to start a riot. Trent was at a birthday party, and was on private time; yet you chose to hang him. Why aren't you objecting to Murray's statements on gov. time. What else should you notice. Other than the initial hullaboo, the reps have chosen to ignore the issue, as it is favorable to the reps for the dems to be looked upon as favoring terrorists. And you can bet the dems will once again be too weak kneed to bring a loose cannon in line. Trent Lott won't hurt the reps anymore, but you can bet the perception Murray left will.
