Political consequences - hmmm, I see a bunch of people pushing to let industry drill all those Cliton wilderness areas...also a game of blame bankers/blame Wall Street (you guys said pets.com was worth 2 Billion but no money for natural gas ?)

Of course, it would be nice if we got some rationality and allow the building of some new refiners, some offshore drilling in California (pay the budget defict!), and maybe allow Detroit to build station wagons instead of SUVs counted as trucks. That is the least likely sceanario.

The extended period of time may depend on long range weather forecasts. If there are forecasters saying "El Nino is just around the corner" that would make me hesitate about drilling anything marginal or 2nd tier.

A few weeks ago, RJ's report on EP companies was posted. It was a detailed analysis and projection. Among their choices was UPL. Seems the report and UPL have escaped discussion on the board. Does anyone follow it?

Took a position yesterday; great reserves and low debt.
