The Government didn't show up for the last meetings with the opposition and the President of the OAS Mr. Gaviria, they didn't accept or propose any deal during the talks, now he wants a truce. The Reason not to accept is: Our slogan is : Not one step backwards Resign or elections Give back the command of the Metro Police to the Mayor in accordance with the Supreme court decision Disarm the Secret Militias armed by him and trained by Cubans and the Colombian FARC The problem is that if he gets a truce it will give him time for completing his plan and impose the dictatorship. Most Venezuelans today have another Slogan, " We rather go trough hardship today and not have a dictatorship Tomorrow, Christmas will be in January after he leaves, that will be our Christmas present"
