Give me a break............GW is the commander in chief and of the US and the GOP.

He is the most powerful figure in the GOP but the senate votes for majority leader. GW could sway the vote if it was close (a president can usually swing some members of congress to vote his way) but if the senators would solidly behind Lott then GW's wishes would be ignored.

Give me a break.........you all can't be this naive and uninformed. First, HMALY tells me that Bush is not the Commander in Chief. Now you tell me that the Senators pick the Majority Leader without Bush's approval.

Its too ridiculous to even argue.
