Ted Re.. see.....that rule may have applied to Nixon as well. You look the other way until they get caught doing something wrong.....like breaking into Watergate. Err, yes, that is the law that you liberals passed isn't it, that we have to hire people based on their present actions, not their past. Please show me that law where you can't review someone's past before deciding whether to hire them or not. So a bunch of dem. characters with a shady past came to the reps, and wanted to start a new life and change their old democratic ways. Who are we to say even a dem. can't rehabilitate himself. Alas we were wrong. Now, I guess we can say, once a democrat, always a democrat. First, its not surprising they left the Dems. Their racist views were unacceptable to the Dems.; however, the GOP welcomed them with open arms. And as far as rehabilitation, the GOP didn't require it of them. Now, I wonder why.........NOT! ted
