OT - RE: "What is the biggest hit you have ever taken on a position?"

That's easy Sam, it was the time my wife caught me in a compromisin' position with... uhhh, wait a minute, maybe you're talkin' 'bout another type of position... sorry, forget that previous comment... well, ta answer your question, I've booked many a major hit over da years. I'm not certain what the largest was, but one that stands out in my mind happened a number of years ago with a company called SyQuest Technology. I can't remember what the specific news was at the time, but I bought ST long right before the close, bad news came 30 minutes later, and by the time the market opened the next mornin', I was down over $30K. I added insult to injury by immediately bailin' on the play at the low, only to then watch her bounce smartly back up. At the time I was more conservative (than these days) and the loss wiped out a long period of hard-earned tradin' profits and put me in the hole ta boot. I was sick.
