i've heard some rumblings that states may push for internet sales taxes

I really think that "pushing" for an Internet sales tax will result in a very negative response from the voters of these various states. I realize that this has been suggested in the past, but there are many reasons why various businesses as well as numerous consumers do not want to see this happen.

I liked the idea of having a place on the income tax form where you can "donate" extra funds to the state budget. Bill Gates father is welcome to donate as much as he would like towards the state and federal budgets!
