What a contrast to the boom in certain cities in mainland China.

On another note, China's gov't officials seem to be pretty aggressive these days in their sniffings on emerging technology, to say the least. Is the US gov't looking 10 years out?

All this talk of war is scaring the consumer. In January, I'm buying some high-tech stock.

Fortunately, MS backwards compatibility can only just go so far back on a release - one would think it's getting time for win98 upgrades due to the support rule on releases. Maybe that'll counter some of this negative macro stuff.

Consumer signals (during the holiday season) don't look good, but business signals look better (but how strong).
