Hi John, I just wanted to thank you for sending this today. It was something I needed to read. My purse (which was in a shopping cart) was stolen today while I was shopping. It was in the seat part of my cart covered over with sweaters. I took my hands off my cart to pick up some votive candles. When I turned around to put the candles in the cart (maybe two seconds later) my cart was gone, replaced by a cart with empty cardboard boxes and a clock. I cannot begin to tell you how I felt. My glasses, my wallet, etc., were in that purse. Think about everything you have in your wallet. Security came to my aid -- to no avail. I left my name, phone number and description of my purse with Customer Service and left angry and hurt. This was Christmas Eve for God Sake!!!!!!!! Now to the reason I am responding back to this email. After calling my daughter to vent, I called Customer Service at my bank and canceled certain cards. I sat talking to myself. How could someone do this on Christmas Eve?????? About two hours later, I got a call from the store informing me they found my purse. The cart was found in the children's department of the store. Another customer noticed a cart left unattended, with a purse in it. They took the cart to Customer Service. Not only did I get my purse returned to me, but there was nothing taken from my purse, not even the cash in my wallet. Today is my deceased brother Johnny's birthday. I talked to him and thanked him for the birthday present he sent to me today. HAPPY HOLIDAYS
