wouldn't be what we call eggnog would it? Some might think so, but not the connoisseur? Comes from a pre-Civil War recipe. Probably pre-Revolutionary War, but the family traditions get a little hazy prior to the Cumberland Gap trek. Problem with the recipe is not having a grass fed Jersey, I can't get the milk I want. Still good stuff. Spoke to relatives this AM, and sorry the snow missed you. lurqer
