do you have any statistics as to the number of "Palestinian" people various Arab states in the mid east have accepted as immigrants or refugees into their countries ? well, you can try to prove me wrong but i think that number is 0. So what are all these countries doing for their Arab cousins ?

Sal, I understand your frustration over the Palestine issue but calling Rumsfeld a bullshitting liberator misses the point. Rumsfeld is doing his job. When you are dealing with a world of madmen, you need someone who scares the shit of them. Rumsfeld plays that role well. He appears a war-monger because somebody has to play that role. Being politically correct amongst a world of crazies will never work. Re America the savior, I thought this article (written last January) is a very well-written piece on the subject...
