Well, I pleased that Japan learn from history. Let's hope that America has learned similar lessons.

JW: Here's an interesting article about the U.S. market as we enter 2003. Given the long bull market the U.S. enjoyed, I guess that it is not unreasonable to experience a long bear market. Japan's experience may be rerun here.
