Yes, it's clear I've reached a "flat spot" in my own technology requirements curve.

I don't yet get much music or video down the pipe. I tried Napster for a bit, wasn't satisfied; then it went away. I've tried KaZaA, just to see what it's like. Bad, very bad. Did a test on 50 files (audio); had 11 viruses, and 43 of the 50 files weren't what the label said they were. I bailed on that rather quickly. <g>

I suspect that by the end of 2004 I'll be back in replacement mode for computers, and I'll have to go through the whole house and get them all. I have a couple of machines on the network that won't support XP, and I won't be able to get machines without XP, so I guess I'll have to do a "global refresh."
