Sure, you ungrateful pinhead, the history of U.S. is indeed replete with evil. The only thing is, the whole world is replete with evil. The U.S. is doing something about it, and is less replete with evil than any other place on earth. Moreover, it is filled to the brim with goodness and mercy. an interesting, if not dishonest and biased read your "educated in true history foreigners" might try a little more in depth education the US has the best, bar none [a little pun], legal system in the world it is specifically honed to protect the innocent, hence in doing that, gives the edge to the guilty our democracy is the "ideal" that other budding democracies strive to, that use to measure theirs against [I've talked to foreigners too] over 200 years ago this country was formed by a small consortium of people oppressed, yearning for individual freedoms - it is our foundation stone religious freedom abounds in America this great and powerful nation was built by people who immigrated from all over the world - I think it is one of the reasons we thrive, our forefathers came from all walks of life, all different peoples - all are represented are we perfect? no do we question? yes do we stumble? yes - but we pick ourselves and and strive for better WE try and will keep on trying we can admit wrong, learn from our mistakes, make amends, move foreward it is what makes us so great take that to your "educated in true history foreigners", take them a little honesty
