Joan, pretty amazing how, after all the losses, many still are 100% long equities in their 401k. I have an ex-high-tech-'executive' (dot-com) friend who's been unemployed for 18 mos. and was complaining to me about having sell 401k mutual funds at a loss for living expenses--doesn't seem to care he's tapping into retirement funds, but is bothered he has to sell now that the 'market has bottomed'...
