I think maybe there is a misunderstanding about what "slander" is. "Slander" is not in writing. Further, for "slander" or "libel" to exist the statements must be false and must injure the party in some way, and there must have been intent to injure the party. Making slander and libel extraordinarily difficult to prove. I think you don't have much to worry about here... SLANDER - A false defamation (expressed in spoken words, signs, or gestures) which injures the character or reputation of the person defamed; distinguished from libel. The defaming a man in his reputation by speaking or writing words which affect his life, office, or trade, or which tend to his loss of preferment in marriage or service, or in his inheritance, or which occasion any other particular damage. In England, if slander be spoken of a peer, or other great man, it is called Scandalum Magnatum. Falsity and malice are ingredients of slander. Written or printed slanders are libels.

Care to provide any of my posts to support your allegation against me? You provided the two posts.......in the second one, you said the following: "Another politician [aka Sen. Murray]trying to save her hide". That statement suggests that Sen. Murray's position is in jeopardy and she is trying to save it by making those comments. That couldn't be further from the truth. In other words, you were putting Ms. Murray's situation in the worst possible light, and that's a misrepresentation of the reality. In other words, that's slander. ted
