Sarmad

At least tell the other part of the story which is 10% of all retail sales during the holiday season are made the week after Christmas.

P.S. I am also sure there will be posts on SI stating the consumer is now all tapped out from the holiday season and will not buy in the 1st quarter. This annual post also appears every year on SI. While generally true it is more of a seasonal trend than an inflection point.

<Unless they were planning for a much higher level, and now are stuck with unsold inventory.>

Sarmad, That is the relative point I was referring to the other day. Inventory looks low to me based on my observations. Sales may not be at up 5% levels, but if they were the store shelves would be empty, cause it sure appears the retailors DID NOT order inventory based on sales up 5%.

As long as inventory is inline with sales increases, the retailors will do just fine this season.
